  Rear and side extension plus kitchen remodelling

  Our project was to add a rear extension, remodel a kitchen and add a new toilet/shower room in a side extension. Gary, Phil, Ewan and other contractors completed everything to a very high standard. Phil’s tiling and attention to detail is amazing. They were very knowledgable with ideas and solutions to problems that arose. From the very first contact, Gary was professional and helpful, he provided a detailed quote and kept us informed with any additional costs for extras we asked for.   Kitchen, boiler move, utility, flooring throughout house and downstairs toilet

  The whole experience was great. Gary was really knowledgeable and helped bring our ideas in to a practical layout whilst keeping costs down. All of his contractors were professional, timely, clean and completed work to an exceptional quality. Nothing was too much of an ask and he was really transparent with costs, timelines and limitations of the property/space.

  Removal of first floor chimney breast and converted bathroom to utility room.

  I was really impressed with the work BDS builders carried out for us in our home. Everything was completed to a high quality - building work, plastering, plumbing and tiling. Gary’s communication throughout the work was spot on. I thoroughly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

  Gary and his team (Phil, Murray, Euan) have provided an exceptional all-round professional experience during the construction of our house extension in Sunderland. Completed Aug 2025. The whole experience has been excellent. No problem too tricky to solve. There has been a dedicated focus on us as customers (and clients), responding to many difficult asks and building challenges.   2 Bedroom Loft Conversion

  We can’t thank BDS enough for our amazing loft conversion. From the first meeting, Gary made everything easy and stress-free. The whole team were friendly, professional, and truly cared about getting every detail right. Communication was brilliant, even sending us updates while we were away. The workmanship is outstanding, and the new space has completely transformed our home. They were tidy, respectful, and a pleasure to have around.
