  Professional Kitchen and Bespoke Carpentry

  Ion from Balanova did an exceptional job on our new kitchen installation. He was very professional from the very beginning, precisely explaining all the work that was involved and providing an accurate estimate of all the work. Ion paid a lot of attention to every little detail and was meticulous in ensuring that every item fitted exactly as was needed to our requirements. Nothing was too demanding and was always willing to put the extra effort to make sure he met all our exacting requirements. Ion also did a bespoke job of refurbishing a storage cupboard with new doors and fittings.

  Very professional and excellent quality carpenter

  Ion built us a window seat/chest. He was super professional, came and measure up precisely and listened to what we wanted. He built the piece off site and then installed it without any mess or fuss, on time and and for a very reasonable price. Would not hesitate to recommend Ion and we are already lining up more work with him.

  Ion from Balanova is extremely knowledgeable and takes real pride in his work. The job he completed for me was absolutely top quality. After several weeks of discussing options and helping me decide what would work best for my space, he travelled to measure up and provide a detailed quote. He spent five days on the project, never rushed, and showed great attention to detail throughout. He also kept everything as clean and tidy as possible each day. I’m really happy with the end result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ion and Balanova to anyone – I’d definitely use them again.

  Update!

  Update: After completing a recent job I had a few questions regarding the painting, caulking and replacing the stripping along the door frame. Ion was incredibly helpful in recommending brands and stores to purchase some of the items from.I considered this over and above considering he also made adjustments to the door hinges and plates. That is a professional.

  Amazing work!

  I had been searching months for a reputable builder or contractor able to fix the lower exterior frame around the side door of my house which had rotted away. Many companies refused the work and some would come and inspect and never return my calls. Ion from Balanova really came through for me. He showed up despite being quite busy with a bigger job, quoted me fairly but more importantly he gave the work the attention and care it needed. He is a true craftsman with wood and knows his stuff. I would use him again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone who needed this kind of quality work.
