  I needed someone for the construction of a chunky wooden gazebo , after posting the job I chose Brian and his son . Brian phoned promptly and gave a reasonable quote for the work with an appropriate start date , I was impressed with his attitude and knowledge . Both Brian and his son are very skilled and hard working , showing great attention to detail just efficiently getting on with the job which was done to a high standard . I would be happy to use them again and highly recommend them to others , many thanks !

  Complete roof retiling.

  B. A. Clark & Son arranged a quote for removal of existing tiles and replacement with new ones. The quote was very competitive They oversaw the erection of the necessary scaffolding on our house and all the tiling work involved. Everything was done professionally and in good time. In addition, all involved were very pleasant to have around. We are very satisfied with the work done.

  fitting a kitchen

  I took on the company as they offered an hourly rate and I presumed that the rate related to the whole job. ( perhaps wrongly) they maintained that rate for the carpentry side of things but subcontracted the plumbing out to a company I did not have any say in and this company then charged what I deemed an excessive amount. I was asked to pay the plumbers direct. The final fix required 3 hours work and I was charged half a day, The kitchen fitters deal in days and half days I would suggest when negotiating a price with them that a complete job price is agreed and not a day or hour rate

  Very pleased they rang and arranged a time to come round and get a quote sorted out very quickly. On completing the work all was cleaned up , kept to his dead line, and price brilliant and 👍

  Fitting cladding to the sides of a dormer
