    Alex was great - the work was completed promptly and within the agreed timeframe. I appreciated his straight forward quote - which was easy to understand. The guys were really clean and tidy and the work was completed without fuss. I will be recommending Atruss Preservation.

    Great workmanship in fixing rising damp issue in SW19

    We contacted Alex in regards to a minor damp issue by our front bay window and a second section of the wall, and from the first conversation over the phone until the end when we received the certificate of work and the 20 year guarantee, Alex was outstanding in his workmanship. Very professional, very diligent and super experienced in every part of the job. We would definitely recommend ATRUSS to anyone else in SW London with a damp issue.

    Replacing damp plaster & damp proofing chimney breast

    I was very pleased with the quality of work and overall approach. Communication was great. The guys were punctual, friendly and respectful. They worked hard with minimal disruption, did a great job, got it done on time (actually a bit ahead of what we were expecting) and tidied up everything when they were done. My name is Alex Truss, I'm a Damp Proofing specialist based in Carshalton Surrey. I have been specializing in Rising Damp for the last 30 years.

After learning the ropes through my dad who was also in the industry, I decided to go solo around 25 years ago and have never looked back.

I work anywhere within Southwest London and North Surrey.

I am a sole trader who takes pride in their work. All damp proofing works come with a 20-year guarantee. I put my name to my work and am proud of delivering an excellent service which would be unrivalled anywhere else in the industry.

Not only do I specialize in the identification and treatment of rising damp I also deal with issues such and Dry Rot and Wet Rot. Crack Repair with the installation of the heliair and helibeam systems. Basement tanking and waterproofing with systems such as Vandex BB75 and the multicoat Sika1 multi coat system. I am also a first-class plasterer and renderer so call me for any work above including floor laying etc.

Please note that I do not deal with condensation or any penetrating damp.

Your works may also need the removal and re-installation of say a bathroom or kitchen units. Don't worry you will be in safe hands.
