  Excellent service, done not only very well but Gary, the engineer, pointed out a problem with the boiler that previous gas engineers had not mentioned. I was very impressed with his competence. He has my trust so much that I plan to use his firm every year for my service and for any faults that may arise.

  Absolutely fantastic service from Dylan at Armstrong Gas Services. Was at my house within an hour of phoning, got the problem diagnosed, quoted and fitted the new part to stop the drip coming from my boiler. Very friendly and polite, kept me well informed throughout visit. Recommend and will definitely use Armstrong Gas services in future.

  Boiler service and advice about boilers and hive control or similar

  Said they would contact me on the monday to arrange appointment. two weeks later I contacted them again and they came around the next day. On attending my home they didnt know my name or why he was attending so read the ad again. They did a service or at least went through the motions. I asked advice about the aging boiler, should i get a new one. It was very difficult to get any real advice from them other than it will be very expensive and if it isnt broke then dont fix it. I asked for a breakdown of the cost of a new boiler but that could only provided if I was a serious buyer.

  I’m disappointed by this review, particularly given that the service was completed professionally and to a high standard. While there was a delay in booking the appointment, which I’ve acknowledged and addressed internally, once confirmed, I attended promptly and carried out a full boiler service as required. When asked about replacing your boiler, I gave you a direct and honest assessment: your system is working, and there’s no need to replace something that isn’t faulty. That’s not a lack of advice, it’s the kind of straightforward, no-nonsense guidance I give all my customers. I don’t upsell or recommend unnecessary work just to generate profit. As for the quote request: we provide full, detailed boiler quotes for serious buyers, as they involve proper planning and site-specific details, not something we throw together casually. We stand by the quality of our work and the integrity of our service. It’s unfortunate when a review overlooks that.

  Arrived on time, done within 20 minutes and nice and tidy work. Fully inspected the meter, boiler, Carbon Monoxide Detector and flu for the boiler. Serviced the boiler. Also bled the radiators. Made recommendations based on what was seen and offered to come back with a quote later in the day. Got a nice electronic report sent to me once finished as well as invoice.
