  Recent and batten. Part of job was filling any gaps in the party wall in the loft in bungalow semi.

  Having completed the work I am now wondering whether to seek a formal inspection from Building Control, as there are some small gaps remaining along the roofline which from reading around the subject would not seem to comply with current building regulations for fire proofing up to the roofline. See photos for the finished block/brick work versus original gaps. This part of the job in hindsight may not have been done to the correct standard, but it should help to keep pests out which was the reason I needed a roofer/builder.

  1960s bungalow new battens, breathable felt, dry ridge, gutter trays, block work in loft and spray.

  Excellent communication throughout, no hidden costs, Eddie and Ryan honest, friendly and helpful in answering my questions. Quick to quote and start work, encouraged cost saving as guaranteed old roof tiles not insisting on new. Block work in loft done to prevent pests as had problem with rats and wasps from next door. I’d recommend getting your own dust sheets to cover any belongings in loft area for debris/durst off roof, very messy, and have scaffold. Work completed over several days, debris cleared. Satisfied with standard of work completed and level of contact excellent throughout.

  Roof repairs

  I had my roof repaired by Arkroofing, Eddie came out took details of what work needed to be carried out and sent me a quote in good time. All work was carried out to a high standard. Eddie kept in communication with me throughout the full job sending me photos updated me as the job went on. Would highly recommend and will use again. Thanks, Eddie for your help.

  Full roof repair and reslating

  couldn't recommend Edward and his roofer enough. the communication since first reaching out and all the way through until the end was superb. Updates everyday with pictures and videos, no up selling involved and the work was carried out to perfection.
