  Fix/Replace a leaking Radiator

  Andy was just superb, came round to price up the job a week or so before hand - provided a detailed explanation of the issue, kit needed to fix and competitive price. Job was completed in a couple of hours to a very high, professional standard. Very friendly and reliable and would highly recommend.

  Found Very Rude

  The plumber came round , and because we were concerned about our under sink cupboard shelf, the plumbers answer was we certainly new about it than I do then said he was going, and left in a hurry. Would not have this man ever to enter my house . Nobody is that rude to my wife and me and gets away with it . I personally would definitely not recommend this plumber under the checkatrade banner

  I arrived as I said I would, free of charge to estimate this work. I did and told the gentleman I would remove the cabinet shelf from the under sink unit to allow alteration of pipework. Gave my cost of £130 which was accepted. I asked if he could empty the cabinet to which he replied "yes" When I returned with my equipment, he said "the shelf cant be removed" quite rudely. I said its fine. I'd been doing this for 35 years and there would be no damage to the cabinet or shelf. He immediately came back and said "No it could not be done" Then his wife appeared and echo'd the same comment again quite rudely and undermining saying "the central support bar of the unit will be broken by removing the shelf". At which point I suggested politely it might be better for them to get another tradesman. This was greeted with silence. I took my equipment back to the van and said goodbye and again met with silence. This is my first review that's anything like this as can be seen.

  Replacing a kitchen tap

  Really pleased with the work carried out, the tap and fitting advised was perfect. This is the second time I have used Andy to carry out a plumbing job for me and would highly recommend him.

  Boiler work and general

  Another comment as we finally have a conclusion to a long saga, with Andy’s help. He worked on our behalf recently over some weeks, and at last got us a refund of £462 on work we were charged for by our boiler co. He sent emails, made calls, then started all over when the refund we were promised didn’t materialise. All because he felt we were treated unfairly. Andy is not only a good, reliable expert in his field (he has fixed toilets, basins, taps, replaced lead pipes, dealt with emergencies and installed boilers for us…) - but he will ride in on his charger if he feels you’re hard done by!
