  Damp proofing

  Outstanding service from start to finish! The work was completed to a high standard, and the team were incredibly hardworking, courteous, and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves and kept me informed throughout the entire process. The job turned out to be larger than expected due to an issue which became apparent after the plaster had been hacked off on one of the walls, but they handled it seamlessly, making everything as stress-free as possible. I really appreciated how quickly they completed the extra work despite their busy schedule. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

  Damp proof in living room

  Pete did a great job. Got stuck into the work immediately. Covered carpets in hallway and living room. Tidied up and cleared away all debris. Very happy with his courteous attitude and very pleased with the job he’s done. Would definitely recommend.

  Damproofing

  Jordan was sent to do the work. He's a massive asset to the company as his workmanship is 100% excellent. Tidying up as he went, he made the experience less stressful than it could have been. It's because of Jordan I would use this company again for sure. Tony let the company down as he didn't assess the job enough before the work started hence extra work I wasn't expecting had to be added on , extra charge which I hadn't factored in before my original booking. I did get a slight reduction because of the inconvenience which I appreciate

  Damp proofing of chimney breast

  I got quotes from three companies. The surveyor for Ambient Preservation seemed much more knowledgeable than the others who seemed interested only in getting the damp proofing done and wanted me to arrange for the gas fire and hearth to be removed. The Ambient surveyor said the hearth did not need to be removed and he was proved correct. Ambient's quote was considerably less than the others. The only problem was when the gas fitter and joiner came to refit the gas fire and fit new skirting boards. I was not told when they were coming so their arrival was a surprise.

  Damp proofing and plastering

  Had work done a week ago with poor effort and half a job done from one of the lads who came out to do the work. time keeping wasn’t very good, could have had more work done over the 5day’s he was here for Been without 2 rooms for over a week having to sit up stairs. over roll not recommend. Plastering job got booked back in. Another lad called Jamie came he was very good job at his job, got the last bit of the plastering all finished and done it all nicely even tidied up and cleaned down. He was very polite and chatty I was very impressed with his quality of work he’s well recommended.

  Woodworm treatment and replacing floorboards

  They quoted a reasonable price for woodworm treatment. Upon sanding the floorboards it turned out quite a few of them were riddled and needed replacing. They fitted their job around some other work being done and were pleasant to deal with. Readily took on the extra work for the floorboards at a fair rate.
