    Alan attended within an hour of an early morning call and resolved the problem immediately. Professional, courteous service and the work carried out quickly, cleanly and with no issues at all. And all done with a replacement part at an extremely reasonable rate. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending!

    Friendly, efficient, professional tradesman

    We’ve recently moved into a new house and had no key for a door. We felt the house and garden weren’t secure. Called Alan yesterday. Came to change lock on a uPVC door today. Friendly, efficient and professional. Fixed price for the job and even helped with a problem on another door.

    A very resourceful locksmith.

    I cannot recommend Alan highly enough, he is charming, helpful and importantly resourceful! We had a problem with a loose door handle. Alan arrived within half an hour of speaking to him. He swiftly sorted the problem without resorting to new handles. He also looked at several other door handles while he was here, even going so far as to correct door hinges. Will most definitely use him again.

    Great Experience with Lock Replacement

    We hired Alan to replace the locks on our front and rear doors, and he was extremely professional and reasonably priced. He even helped fix one of our door handles at no extra cost. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.

    dead lock replacement

    phoned Alan and he answered immediately told him about the problem i was having with my front door dead lock and we arranged a time convenient to me when he could call. he informed me of the cost which i agreed. on arrival as there are hundreds of different patterns he would have to get my type from supplier. he revisited at another time at no extra cost and completed the job. i found him very polite and respectful. a pleasure to have him do this job

I'm Alan Hocknell, trading as All Locked Out. I am a skilled 24 hour locksmith with over 15 years experience and I live in Tenterden, Kent, with my wife, daughter and our Jack Russell, Baxter.Unlike many other locksmiths, I don’t charge a call out fee; instead I provide a clear price for the job to be done, with no surprises later. I am reliable, conscientious, fast, friendly and good value.

I work for private individuals, commercial clients, housing associations and letting agencies. 90% of jobs are completed in one visit as my van is always well stocked with a variety of insurance compliant BS3621 locks.

I work as non-destructively as possible (ie: picking locks rather than drilling) and I reach most customers within 30 minutes of their call, and often much quicker!
