  Bad experience

  All my previous Checkatrade experiences have been positive, but unfortunately not this one. I found this tradesman to be bad-tempered and argumentative, with terse and negative responses to reasonable queries about the job. As a woman it is unacceptable to have aggressive men in my space. I am very disappointed with the experience and have re-posted the job to find a professional tradesman to complete the work.

  I am very disappointed by this review, and strongly dispute the account given and do not believe it accurately reflects what happened. I have built my business on providing a professional, clean and high-quality service, and my previous customer feedback reflects this. On this occasion, I made considerable efforts to accommodate the customer, including providing access to my trade discounts, using materials at no additional charge and carrying out additional preparation work where necessary. I remain proud of the standard of my work and will continue to treat my customers with respect.

  Superb - reliable, skilled, hard-working

  Alex did such a great job for us. He is incredibly reliable, skilled and hard working. He always prioritises client satisfaction and doesn’t consider a job done until you’re happy. He is a superb decorator but also helped us with lots of other tasks eg sash window repair. I would highly recommend him to anyone and am sure we will use him again.

  Professional, extremely high quality work (paintjob)

  Alex was extremely thorough in reviewing the work required before commencing the painting work (painting a whole flat). He kept me updated throughout the job of 5 days. The work was to a very high standard so I am pleased to recommend him (and have already done so)

  Great Work

  Alex , came promptly to view the job and gave a written quote within a day. He was well organised, communicated well with me and the tenants of the flat he was working on. Both the tenants and l were very pleased with the thorough job that he completed. They gave him 10/10 and so do l. l would recommend him. Thankyou Alex

  Painted floors, ceiling, bedroom, bathroom

  Alex did a fantastic job of painting our wooden floors. He was able to work to fix cracks in the wall, ceiling and the completed various touch up jobs to a very high standard. His communication was great and I couldn’t recommend him enough for any painting or decorating jobs.

  Redecoration of bedroom with surface repair work
