  Exterior painting and repairs

  William and his company, Alan Lancaster, carried out exterior decoration of my 4 story early Victorian house. The quote was detailed and reasonable, and the work was carried out in good time, despite bad weather. Windows and doors were repaired, rendering was restored and the whole exterior was repainted. New cellar doors were fitted and repair of external pipework and some rewiring were also done. William was very well organised and ensured that everything went smoothly. I was very pleased with the results and have no hesitation in recommending his company.

  Painting back and front of house

  It the best quote we got and we were very pleased with the work. It was done quickly and with little fuss. Barely noticed they were here at all. The only slight issue was that the scaffolders left a couple of footprints on one of the newly painted surfaces when taking the scaffolding down which I couldn’t clean off, but William came back and gave it an extra coat of paint so all good. Would definitely use them again. Oh yes. And William was very responsive and replied to texts quickly.

  Kitchen fitting

  We are delighted with our new Howdens kitchen installed by Alan Lancaster Ltd. The work went smoothly and on schedule and the quality of the work is excellent. The head of the company, William, was easy to deal with and keen to ensure that we were happy with the service and that everything was completed satisfactorily. Highly recommend for decorating and kitchen installation.

  Repainting and replastering a bedroom

  Will and Chris did a fantastic job replastering and repainting spare bedroom, including radiator removal/replacement. Punctual, very friendly and communicative, did a thorough job, kept to the quote. And came back promptly ro rectify one or two very minor snags. Definitely would use again and highly recommend.

  Communication and response was quick, estimate for the work was fair, work done in the time they said, and made good previous poor workmanship of previous tradesperson. Even cleaned up nicely afterwards.

  External decoration

  William Lancaster and his team painted the exterior of our three-storey house. It was a first-class job – thorough preparation and excellent finish. All the work, including restorative joinery work, was done to a very high standard. The team worked carefully, tidily and speedily. They could not have been more helpful. Very many thanks.
