AC&MS Ltd was established in February 2003 as an independent asbestos consultancy. Based in Essex, AC&MS Ltd are specialists in asbestos risk management and can provide support and advice across a full range of services from asbestos management surveys, asbestos refurbishment and/or demolition surveys, re-inspection surveys, sampling, and analysis, through to the project management of asbestos removal and analytical air testing. In effect, a one-stop shop for any asbestos related work.

Since AC&MS Ltd was founded in February 2003, the company has strengthened from year to year, and continues to successfully deliver Asbestos Consultancy and Management Services, both reactive and planned, to a large client base from both the public and private sectors. Laboratory Capabilities.

AC&MS Ltd operate a UKAS accredited laboratory with all services conforming to ISO/EIC 17025: 2017 standards. All bulk samples are analysed by dispersion staining and polarised light microscopy in accordance with the HSE method HSG 248 ‘The Analyst Guide’. All laboratory staff are trained to the nationally recognised British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) proficiency module P401 and have a wealth of experience dealing with all types of asbestos and non-asbestos samples. AC&MS Ltd are active participants in the Asbestos in Materials scheme (AIMS) instigated by the Health and Safety Laboratory (HSL) and the Regular Inter-Laboratory Counting Scheme (RICE) and have consistently achieved a satisfactory result since joining.
