    Istalling under floor insulation and wooden floorboard renovation.

    Rod did an amazing job renovating our wooden floorboards, and we are really happywith the end results. Throughout the entire process, he was incredibly helpful, offered great advice, and kept us fully updated every step of the way. We will definitely be coming back to Rod when it is time to work on the other rooms in our house. Highly recommended!

    Great company with helpful and friendly service

    We had a great experience with these guys - honest quoting and they'll come to look at the flooring in person before quoting too. Lots of different options on the quote which is helpful too, and we were really happy with the end results! The work took two days and everything was left super clean and tidy overnight and once the work was finished. Thank you!

    Excellent Floor Restoration - High-Quality Finish and Professional Service

    Rod and his team at Academy Flooring Services did an excellent job restoring our solid wood floors. From the initial consultation through to completion, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The sanding work was carried out to a very high standard with minimal dust, and the finish is outstanding. We opted for a colour change with a Bona dye followed by Bona Traffic HD Anti-Slip lacquer, and the result looks fantastic: a warm, modern finish with a noticeable improvement in grip, which was important for our dog. Overall, a very smooth experience and a high-quality result.

    Academy Flooring sanded and lacquered an 11m2 pine floorboard and carried out some repairs, replacing a concrete patch with reclaimed floorboards. Excellent quality of work and first class communication throughout. Very Highly recommended.

My name is Rod Johnson and I'm the owner of Academy Flooring Services, Thanks for looking at our page, I have three excellent teams trained and qualified to undertake your requirements.

I have over 23 years of experience in the Flooring industry and specialise in all types of wood floor restoration from Reclaimed floorboards to parquet flooring.

I deal with all types of wood floor colouring which ranges from bespoke dyeing to coloured oiling using a multitude of different methods and techniques to acheive the optimum finish at an affordable cost.

We can also provide Damp proof membranes, Latex screeding, structural work including joist repairs and replacement. We also supply and fit skirting, beading and concrete fireplace hearth removal.

We also offer competative rates for reclaimed pine floorboards supplied and fitted if required.
