We had a great experience with Academy Flooring. They sanded, stained, and lacquered our floors to a very high standard. The team was punctual, organised, and kept communication clear throughout. We were so happy with the results that we booked them again to stain our new staircase. When we noticed a small area of discolouration after the stain dried, they came back the very next day to sort it out—no fuss. Highly recommended.

We had floors sanded, plastering, sofa cleaning and odd job all completed. All work was carried out in a timely manner and looks great. Rod was very responsive and his team did a great job. Company overall was easy to work with. I’d recommend and use again.

I hired Academy Flooring to fix a creaky upstairs floor and ended up replacing the entire floor based on their advice. The work was rushed and poorly done; After two days, they claimed to be finished, but I found multiple issues: poorly cut sheets, large gaps, unsupported edges, and screws missing joists. They did respond quickly to my concerns, but it took four more visits to address the problems, only for the creaking to return. Finally, they said the joists were the issue and couldn't keep returning. Now, I have a new floor I likely didn't need, and the creaking is still as bad!
