  Replaced front door

  The new door unit itself is fine, and was fit quickly, all locks work as expected etc. However, they fit the door closer on the front of the door as opposed to the inside without consulting, as I had a shelf in the way. However, if they would have just asked, I could have removed the 2 screws in the shelf in 30 seconds. As they didn’t ask, I now have a front door I don’t aesthetically like. I asked for an FD30s standard door, there’s a gap of 7mm at the bottom. Platinum Fire Doors have told me that’s sufficient for regs, it’s still a larger gap than I’d expect,there’s a draft under the door.
