  New front door

  CIT stepped in when a previous builder hadn’t completed the job. They responded promptly to my request, took all the details, quoted quickly, came when arranged to check measurements, installed as soon as they received the new door from their supplier (after sending one back because it was faulty). They handled the whole job, kept me informed regularly of progress, made a good job of the installation. We’re very pleased with the results.

  A good job well done

  Matthew worked on the porch: built new steps up to the front door, got a new composite door installed, replaced a broken flagstone under the back door, and retiled the floor. He replied promptly to my Checkatrade request, came to measure up when arranged, offered some good advice, sent me a quote when he said he would, did the work when scheduled, and worked late after running into an unexpected snag to get the job done on time. He kept me well informed throughout, was always polite, respectful and straightforward to deal with. We’re very pleased, and have asked him back to do another job.

  A reliable roofing company

  First time I've used Checkatrade. Responded quickly to my request (for new soffits and guttering), called when arranged to assess the work, provided a quote within a few days which I accepted although it was a bit higher than expected, came on the date I requested, stayed late to get the job done after a couple of unexpected snags, cleared up after themselves. Throughout were professional, polite, friendly, the work looks good, neat and tidy and included a bit they weren't sure they'd quoted for but they did anyway (I couldn't remember either). I'd certainly use them again.
