  Wooden stairs built to access garden.

  This has been our first experience working with JF stairs and carpentry and they did not disappoint. Communication was quick and professional. They turned up when they said they would. The quote was reasonable for the job I needed and beat other quotes we received for the same job. They went out of their way to help us when we were let down by another company. The completed work was what I needed, and of a very good quality. I am very satisfied with their work and communication, I will be using them again, and would definitely recommend to others.

  Needed an assessment and report for the damp issues in our basement annex which has problems

  Made contact for an assessment. Communication was in timely manner. A date for an assessment with a surveyor was made and we were sent an invoice for £180 which we paid. Our assessment took place on 1st May 2025. That was the last time we had any contact from this company. After a month or so I contacted the surveyor directly informed me that Able Damp Specialists have closed trading. I have no report informing us of our damp problem and what needs to be fixed. We are no wiser of the work we need doing, and out of pocket nearly £200. Not happy at all
