  Excellent Victorian occasional chair repair.

  Karl came out to look at my Victorian chair which needed a repair to one of the dowels. He came out at very short notice, and when I mentioned the other four dowels could go at any time, he did an excellent repair to all five dowels. Karl also gave me professional advice on the next level repair stage, should the chair require further attention. I thought the quote was bang on for the work, and I would not hesitate to call North East Joinery again for any other carpentry/craftsman work. I should point out that he responded promptly, where the other trades had kept me hanging around

  Pro cleaning of very old stair and landing carpet with historic staining and faded areas.

  I wasn’t expecting the impossible because the carpet was as old as the house, but Ian from Vulcan Hygiene did the very best job he could and overall I saw an improvement. It was more economical than buying new carpet.
