  AAV Replacement on Unvented Hot Water Cylinder

  Roman came to replace the AAV on our unvented hot water cylinder. Good correspondence leading up to the job. Good communication on the day. He took the time to explain how everything worked after the work was completed. Would recommend.

  Unvented Cylinder Service

  2 months after my unvented cylinder was serviced we lost our hot water. Turns out the AAV needed replacing (see photo). This was not identified during the service, even though we'd pointed it out. They had already come back once to replace the PRV valve, and could have replaced both on the same visit. Instead it was going to cost me an extra £120, so I chose to go with another company. They did offer me a £20 discount, but I was still going to be out of pocket because of their oversight. Apart from that the tradesperson was punctual and polite, no problems there.
