  Very quick diagnostics and boiler replacement

  Shane from Actigas replied impressively quickly to my message about my leaking boiler, and attended at 8am the next day. Within a few moments, he found the heat exchanger had failed, and demonstrated the issue. It was no longer economical to carry on repairing it due to its age and previously failing in the same way. Shane re-attended within the week and installed a new boiler from Worcester Bosch, checked it was working and arranged the guarantee. He left the kitchen very tidy. I mentioned the price to a few people and it was around half of what they were expecting, so I am really impressed.

  Replacement toilet valve and sink tap installed

  Excellent job done to replace a toilet valve which was originally installed incorrectly. The toilet had to be totally removed and reinstalled in a tight space to do this job. This was done very neatly and no mess was left whatsoever, which is impressive with any job involving water and sewer pipes! A new bathroom tap was also installed, again very tidily. James also unblocked the sink and refitted a defective toilet flush button without this being mentioned before. Really impressed.

  Water leak fixed

  Turned up very quickly after initially getting in touch (just a couple of hours) and efficiently sorted a leak which turned out to be a failed washer in an awkward place. Booked again for a change of bathroom taps and toilet valve.
