  Electric Boiler fix

  The work was carried out to an acceptable standard, but the engineer was lacking the knowledge to work the timer and tried to suggest it was broken and to replace it at an extra cost of £195 on top of the already paid £90 fee for fault diagnosis and £295 for the thermostat change. Upon having the thermostat changed it did not work but a reset via the main circuit board did the trick, which made me wonder why this wasn't tried in the first place with the said "faulty" one. Got a horrible feeling I've been hoodwinked and was almost tricked into paying for a new timer as the original one is ok
