  Emergency gas boiler change - skilful, careful, and obliging

  Our boiler failed a safety check and had to be replaced urgently. The new one had to go upstairs in an airing cupboard - the only place in our unusually designed house to meet modern flue requirements. This meant running new pipework through concrete floors and tight channels so as not to damage tiling - a tough job. We needed a new pump, valves, and cylinder, all re-positioned. Matt and the team worked long and hard but couldn't finish by the end of day 2. They came back Sunday 9.30am-10.30pm to get it all done. Throughout they showed great skill and care, and were considerate and friendly.

  Replacement of leaking basin taps

  Michael responded readily and quickly to our pressing need - taps leaking badly in a tenant's flat. He diagnosed what was needed and went back to carry out the work swiftly and well, all for a good price. We have used him before. He is friendly and easy to deal with and takes pride in his work. Our tenant - who can find some tradespeople difficult - was equally impressed.

  Installed multi-sensor burglar alarm and outside cameras with recording and off-site operability

  It was expensive, but we had a lot of sophisticated and high quality equipment fitted, which will greatly improve the chances that future intruders will be caught - and so may well deter them. We were well advised about location of cameras and the like, and installation was done very neatly, with necessary cabling fitted unobtrusively, and cleanly. Matt was friendly and courteous and took pains to work conveniently around our video-calls. Highly recommended.

  Clogged/leaking bath and basin taps replaced.

  Michael arranged to come quickly, at times to suit tenant. Advised us on best taps to buy balancing likely reliable life and price. Work was done to high standard, at a keen price (and took less than the half day reckoned, so came in at bottom end of estimated price range). Very easily arranged, prompt, and fuss-free repair.

  A thoroughly professional job at a fair price. Nic discussed carefully beforehand how he would repair and adapt our ageing and quirky central heating system. He and Steve came as booked. They carried out the work carefully and tidily and were pleasant to have around. We are pleased with the work. We have also used Carnvale Ltd at a rented out flat for servicing and certifying a boiler (and advice to get parts replaced under guarantee), all prompt, flexible and helpful, at a fair price.

  All completed carefully and seems to have stopped all the leaks. Fitted us in slightly earlier than predicted. The price seemed fair (helped by the business being below the VAT threshold). It was a pleasure to deal with Michelle and Rick.
