  Great job on a new resin driveway

  Danny gave a quick quote and talked me through the process for laying a 6x6m² resin driveway. He rearranged quickly when our original date had to get cancelled at short notice. Paul and Chris were punctual, efficient and neat. They explained what they were doing at each stage of the process and were flexible with us getting in and out of the house. Danny advised us on colour scheme on the day and relaid the drain cover (including taking a course of bricks off) all as part of the price. Would recommend danny and team to anyone else for a new resin driveway.

  EICR plus remedial work and new consumer unit

  Tom was communicative, clear and punctual. He was very generous with his time and thorough with his work. He carried out an initial EICR, talking us through all the issues he found and why, showing us them not just saying they were there. He then came back quickly to install a new consumer unit and do other wiring work. Again talking us through it as he did it. He was very reasonably priced for a thorough and professional job. He also completed follow up work quickly and neatly. He always made sure to tidy up after himself as much as possible. Would highly recommend.

  Boiler servicing and replacement pipework for washing machine

  Dan and Al serviced our boiler (identified a leak in the expansion tank), cleaned it and checked it. They also attached a new pipe tree and spigot for our washing machine. Dan was communicative, clear and fair throughout. He was available and reliable on timing, even turning up early. Him and Al were friendly and professional on the job, explaining everything as they did it. Will be using him to do the remaining boiler repair. He also fixed a radiator while he was there and revised the price down when the job on the washing machine was slightly smaller than expected, without being asked.

  Skirting Repair

  This is the first part of the work that Adi is going to do for us. He quoted us for parts, labour and making good. Came to fit some new skirting in a tricky bit of corridor where the wall wasn't flat. He quoted very reasonably, turned up on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently, checking with us what we wanted doing. He was very brisk and businesslike, giving his honest opinion at each stage. He had some work left over, which he is going to come back to finish. He's also offered to fix a bad flooring job done by another company, again at a very reasonable price.

  Replacement of wood flooring

  While they was quick at replying and getting the job booked in and quick at delivering it on the day, the workmanship was poor. Replacing a wooden joist and the engineered wood flooring on top of existing boards, Blana wedged old bits of wood underneath and left their rubbish behind the skirting board. A few months later the boards started to shift and dipping indicating that they had not been installed or secured properly. They did not respond to requests to return and fix the problem. Now 9 months later.

  Removing damp plaster, damp proofing and replastering

  Prokil (starting with Wai who did the survey, then Calvin and Samuel who did the work) were excellent. They gave a balanced survey, with honest assessments and didn't over quote for work or upsell us. Unlike other firms. Calvin and Samuel were timely, accurate, efficient and tidy. Calvin communicated very we'll and answered any questions. Samuel was very professional, worked quickly and produced an excellent result on both walls, removing plaster, damp proofing and replastering very smoothly. The clean up job both days was excellent, barely a hoover needed. Would absolutely recommend.

  Guttering repair and replacement

  Danny was communicative and clear, including speaking to our neighbour (with whom we were sharing the work), answering her questions and ours. He arrived on time, dealt with another challenging neighbour professionally and did a rapid and clean job. New gutters look great!

  Replacement of 5 windows, one of which included a patio door. All UPVC

  Tailor-made were excellent start to finish. Adriana was incredibly communicative (easy via whatsapp), drawing up plans and quotes and sharing photo examples rapidly. She also rushed the work so that we were booked in 3 weeks after payment and before we went on holiday. Petru did the installation and his work was excellent. He was neat and a perfectionist, as well as being friendly and polite. He cleaned up carefully after every day so we could come back to a house we could use. Finally tailormade were unbeatable on price, coming in less than half the price of national competitors. Recommended!
