  Rather expensive but good work

  Keys had been stolen on a Sunday evening. Marco came promptly and did careful work. One Chubb and one 'yale' type lock replaced. The bill was huge £1368. Both locks were more expensive than needed, especially the 'yale' type. I was led to believe it was the only one that could be fitted to this electric lock. I complained and Roland agreed to refund £120 emergency call out charge (which he had not mentioned in the phone call) and an additional £50. The take home message, I think, is that they are good but make absolutely sure they are not fitting better locks than needed.

  leaking wall tiles in shower

  Boci's estimate was very reasonable. Altin and his colleague did an excellent job. They managed to remove the tiles without breaking them, so that they could be replaced, after waterproofing the board underneath. The shower cabinet and electric shower had to be removed and replaced. Once replaced I realised the shower cabinet was also too old and need to order another, which they will fit, have not yet quoted for that but I am confident it will be fair. They will also paint the damaged ceiling for a very reasonable sum.

  Moving climbing roses and shrubs
