  Changing a tap on a basin they put in.

  Team and junior had to put in a small basin in a refurb of my shower room due to bad workmanship by the original builders. The tap ended up being to near to the basin, water was splashing over the basin and going on the floor. A new taller tap was installed, and the water is going into the basin they also adjusted the water pressure. Excellent job done, they tidied up after themselves, lovely considerate people to have around and a decent price too. They sorted out the major plumbing issues in our house due to plumbing and they have become our friends. We would not recommend anyone else.

  Installing a larger double radiator in a bedroom

  John and Junior came over as I was not get enough heat from my single radiator of our new build house until now I have coped with it. He said that the radiator was not big enough for the room. He and Junior installed a new longer double radiator for me and difference is incredible. They only took 1 hour forty five minutes to install it. They check the old radiator and no sludge was coming out of it, the water was clean enough not to warrant a full washout of the system. So a good job done, they are lovely people to have around they tidy up and do an excellent job at decent price. Try them.

  Installing 2 security lights, 1 on the garage and 1 for the garden

  Richard is a pleasure to be around, his work is meticulous. He first comes round to see what you require then he quotes you for the job and price is usually the same as the quote after he finishes the work. he buys the items needed, it take out the worry about which lights would be suitable etc. When he finished he took away his rubbish and left everything neat and tidy. This will be the second time we have called on him for a electrical job.

  Whole redesign and refit en-suite with shower toilet and basin

  The third final job that Junior had to tackle original plumbing from our new build that we bought put in wrong. Removed basin had been built over the stairs for more space. Very dangerous, to correct en-suite now smaller. Redesigned the en-suite, basin had to fit on the same side of the toilet. Floor removed to move toilet pipes. New floor put down. Bigger shower, smaller basin, will be painted and tiled and finished to a high standard. It is amazing see photos on Checkatrade, it has the brown tiling on window sill at the start. They made 3 nightmares into 3 fairytales. We are grateful.

  Plastering 1 Shower room and 1 on suites and a shower unit in another on suite

  David did the plastering for a shower room, an on suite and a shower unit, he was working with our plumbers John and Junior at Murdock Plumbing and Property Maintenance, to sort out the mess of the plumbing that was originally installed in our new build 8 years ago. He did an excellent job, the plaster is smooth to the touch from his excellent skill. You see the result when the plumber had finished painting the area and his job is complete. He is a kind respectful man and tidies up before leaving. He will be on the final review for the Plummer, as he is so good. Competitively priced

  Changing shower room putting in new pipes, shower, basin, toilet And floor.

  Our new home now 8 years old, having blockages in the shower and a bad smell. On looking Murdock Plumbing found bad workmanship, pipes bowing and positioned upwards instead of down. Shower tray leaking, shower unit put in before the plaster, shower debris was mixing with the toilet debris. Gaps that should not be there. A mess. They replaced the pipes, shower unit, toilet and basin, floor, painted & tiled. They only had a plasterer in. Now it is an attractive functioning shower room, no bad smell. They are a godsend. Competitively priced, Kind respectful men and completed in 5 days.

  Removing the whole shower, tiles, tray and glass and putting in a new shower and cubicle

  These men do an incredible job and they tidy up after their work, they take us through the work they have completed each day so we are totally happy with it. We bought our new build 8 years ago we started to have shower blockages and sewage smells but we thought this was outside . But found that the plumbing had been put in by unprofessional plumbers. The shower is no longer smelling. A turn off valve has been put in to stop the toilet debris mixing with the shower debris. The shower cubicle is now perfect and built the way it should have been built from the beginning. More to tackle.
