  Removal of an ornamental fishpond

  The job was to remove a fishpond that had been installed in our back garden by a previous owner. Damien was extremely prompt, arriving early, and completed the work to an excellent standard, removing all trace of the pond plus a nearby bench and some pipework, then using layers of hardcore to fill in the hole and ensuring that the ground is firm and will drain properly. The total cost of the work was very reasonable, and Damien was hardworking, efficient and courteous, so I would heartily recommend D Parrant Landscapers.

  TV Aerial and Cables Adjustment

  Reading Aerial Services carried out a number of jobs at our house this morning - adjusted our TV aerial for better reception and installed it on a new chimney bracket, also removed the existing tangle of cables, installed a new cable from the aerial to our living room and removed an old satellite dish. They were prompt, efficient, courteous and knowledgeable - we are extremely happy with the work that was carried out and would not hesitate to recommend them.

  Pruning and shaping tall trees in back garden

  A two-man team from L. Smith Tree Surgery arrived very promptly and carried out some much needed tree pruning and shaping in our back garden, including cutting back a neighbour's conifer where it extended over our garden and removing dead growth from a tall palm. The team were efficient, courteous, timely and informative - all work was done to a very high standard over the course of a few hours and the team cleared up thoroughly after the work was done, removing all the garden waste. I heartily recommend L. Smith Tree Surgery and hope to use their services again in future.

  Aerial and TV checks

  Steven checked our TV aerial and the external cable, also our TV's ability to tune to Freeview channels, the diagnosis being that our aerial's reception was not great but adequate, also that our TV's tuner probably has a fault. He was thorough, polite, courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, communicative and came on time. I would definitely recommend Steven and Digital Aerial Solutions.

  Repair hole under section of roof

  An excellent, professional job by Mick - there was a gap that had opened up under a section of roof at the back of our house and which needed a repair to prevent water or pests getting into the void under the roof. Mick fixed the problem very neatly and to a high standard.

  Mick and team carried out exterior painting to our 1930s mid-terrace house - they were reliable, courteous and prompt in all dealings. Mick's quote was extremely competitive. All work was done to a very high specification and with an excellent attention to detail. Materials were high quality and we were always kept informed of progress.   Diagnosing a water leak in the loft, replacing a ball valve

  We were experiencing a slow leak of water from the overflow pipe linked to the central heating feed and expansion tank in the loft. Paul replaced the very old ball valve that was failing, stopping the leak. He also fitted an extra stopcock and added inhibitor to the F&E tank. He was efficient, timely and courteous, and I would definitely recommend AD Plumbing and Heating.

  Cleared and sealed gutters, applied fiberglass coating to sections of flat roof over bay windows.

  Excellent work by Mark and team mate, cleared and sealed gutters and flat roofs in a very timely and efficient way, giving us peace of mind for the winter. Also checked for broken and missing tiles and replaced one tile that was gone.
