  Waste clearance

  OJH Services cleared half a load of waste from our front garden after stopping by to give a quote a few days earlier. No complaints, fast and efficient service, and communication was good.

  Replacing shower with bath

  We asked Michael for help replacing our shower tray with a bath, for which he gave a very reasonable quote, communicating with us quickly and easily. However, after removing the tray we discovered the floor underneath had been destroyed by damp and a broken/leaky pipe. Michael subsequently replaced all the floors, renewed everything to a high standard, then installed the bath. There were numerous issues along the way which he dealt with, and overall the charge for the extra work was fair. We’d definitely use his services again, next time for something hopefully more straightforward!

  LED lighting replacement

  Handy Experts were a great help when I needed some bathroom lighting replaced at short notice. The electrician, Darren, had to slightly delay his arrival, but came the next morning at a time we agreed and carried out the work to a high standard. He contacted me before arrival to check material costs and was a pleasure to deal with in person. Overall the price was very fair, and indeed lower than many other companies I contacted.

  Alcove shelving and wardrobe

  Jason built some alcove shelving and a floor to ceiling wardrobe for us over a few days. He was very easy to deal with before work started (quick responses by text etc), and his quote was competitive. During the work he was very efficient and polite, and the end result was high quality. He even kindly helped sort one or 2 unrelated issues in the house. We would definitely use his services again.

  Removing a problematic drain trap

  Had Happy Drains out to fix a sewer line trap that was blocking regularly and causing us much grief. It took a couple of goes to diagnose the issue, but then we got a very reasonable quote compared with other providers. The job involved lifting our garden paving and digging up the soil to remove the trap. On the day, the team were very courteous, explained everything (in detail . . .), and left the area clean and tidy - also going above and beyond by fixing some other minor problems. It's too soon to say if the drain issue is fixed forever, but I was delighted with the service as received.

  Replace heated towel rack with a double radiator in bathroom.

  Adam was very helpful giving lots of advice and explanation before the work was carried out; pretty responsive over Whatsapp too. On the day, he and his workmate arrived on time and completed the job to a high standard within a few hours. End price was as estimated. I've used Adam's services before and will again. Reliable, trustworthy, and good value.
