  Cistern running persistently and no hot water for shower

  Carl from Responsive Plumbing responded very quickly to my post and attended at 7.30 the following morning before attending his scheduled jobs. He replaced cistern parts which he had in his van and tested for leaks under the cistern. He tested the toilet flush system which now works perfectly as does the bathroom shower. Carl was friendly throughout and carried out the work efficiently and hassle free and at a fair price. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for future work.

  New roof on mid terraced house

  I had a number of holes in the roof resulting in the rain coming through the ceiling. Andrew from AL Roofing inspected the roof and discussed a number of options and I opted for a new roof. Andrew gave me a fair quote which he stuck to throughout and soon started work. Andrew explained the work that was being done throughout. The lads were always on time and I was impressed by their work ethic and tidiness and also their consideration for my neighbours. I am very pleased with all aspects of their work and now have peace of mind as winter approaches. I would certainly recommend AL Roofing

  To remove layers of broken flags and bricks and to concrete the yard front and back.

  Every Spring I scratched my head wandering what to do with my front and back yards to make them presentable and a pleasure to spend time in. I was tired of constantly weeding between broken flags. I wish I’d contacted Chris at Renown Building before now. Chris and Joe worked tirelessly at digging up layers of flags and stones before very neatly concreting the whole area. After many years this has finally dispensed with weed problems and improved the drainage due to skilled sloping of the concrete. I am now looking forward to lots of plants and colourful flowers whilst sat out in the sun.
