  Reconnecting gas and commissioning appliances

  Fired up were quick to respond to the job ad and raised a couple of further queries so they could provide an accurate estimate. They arrived on time - the next day and on a weekend - and did the job quickly and efficiently. Overall, a great example of excellent customer service - thank you.

  Gas Pressure Testing

  It was a simple job. An engineer attended to carry out the tests, having overcome confusion re: the appointment time. I waited several weeks for written confirmation of the test results. I chased and was told the written report would be shared later that day. It wasn’t. I eventually received a report which was unclear/ uncertain as to the test results. I had to chase for a revised report, which I finally received having spent far too much time chasing and then explaining why the first effort was unacceptable. Overall, a poor and untimely service, albeit they sent the invoice quickly!

  Fitting waste disposal unit

  Joseph to care with his estimate, having asked for several photos to ensure it was accurate. Joseph turned up when he said he would. He completed the job quickly and efficiently and left no mess. He talked me through the work once it was completed and ensured I was happy with the job before he left. Worth noting that Joseph put shoe covers on before entering the house without being asked to do so. I thought this was respectful and demonstrated a focus on customer care. Not all trades are as considerate in my experience. I would recommend Albo and use them again.

  Prompt response, clear communication and eagerness to do the work, although it was only two relatively small jobs. Work was done efficiently and tidily - exactly what was needed.

  Changing layout of utility room

  Brian was punctual and polite and gave clear advice having listened carefully to our needs. He then completed the work to a high standard. The work included altering plumbing, constructing a platform to bear the weight of 2 tumble dryers and fitting additional storage, using parts from the storage we removed to control cost. Brian arranged for an electrician to alter the wiring to ensure no overloading / a safe finish. Brian also hung a mirror whilst he was here. Nothing was too much trouble and the price charged was very reasonable for a job very well done.
