  Jacob and his team were very good. we wanted the artex ceilings in our hallway and staircase removed, so had them replastered. The team arrived each day promptly and got on with the job.

  Replace a garden tap and diagnose and fix a noisy pipe.

  Ion contacted me and set up a time to come to the house. (I much prefer when a tradesperson actually comes to the house to check the work that needs doing.) When arrived ge was able to diagnose the pipe problem. A new cartridge was needed in the kitchen tap. This was replaced with no problem. The garden tap was also replaced with an extra valve so as to protect it in the winter. This was all done in an hour. Ion was professional, courteous, tidy and explained what work needed doing. I was very impressed.

  New conservatory windows and front door

  It has been about 5 months since Mcfarlane Homes carried out the work to our home. We had new conservatory windows and doors fitted, as well as a new front door. Connor was helpful and prompt when he first attended. He offered some decent options to choose from. There was a slight hiccup on the installation when the team he had employed for the job left after an hour without explanation. Connor was not aware of this when he asked for an update. A new team were found to carry out the work a week later. They worked efficiently and we are happy with the work. So far leaks or problems.

  Marcin was really good and patient with us. He needed patience to deal with the wood chip and our kids constant interrupting. Work was good and he was courteous, cheery and hard working.

  As with previous work carried out, All Type Plumbing &Heating were excellent. On time, efficient, tidy, totally trustworthy and very reasonably priced. To be honest, I have stopped asking for quotes from them as I know they care more for reputation than making a few extra quid. Thank you once again!

  Burst pipe

  I came home to find a lake forming in the bathroom. I called Richard and he tried to tell me how I could fix the problem, but due to my total lack of experience it needed Richard to come over, which he did straight away through the rush hour. He came over and was able to stop the waterfall of water as soon as he walked through the door. He was able to explain what had happened, why it had happened and how to deal with it should it happen again. Throughout, he was friendly and fully understanding of my total lack of plumbing knowledge. This wasn't the first time I have called Richard, and I will certainly call again for any plumbing issues.

  Replacement of radiators

  I'm very happy with the job Richard and Shaun did. Being a plumbing novice Richard was happy to explain the pros and cons of different options available and gave a very reasonable quote. With the work carried out it was done in a timely manner and it all seems very good. One thing had to be changed from when the quote was given due to a problem with our old radiator and a very straightforward and reasonable option was offered.
