  Excellent professional workmanship

  Arthur's service has been excellent from start to finish. The flat kitchen roof started leaking during heavy rain. The joint between our roof and the neighbour's roof already made any remedial work tricky. Arthur quickly responded to our enquiry and came out to evaluate what was needed. The works was completed to a high standard and the roof looks better than it did before. I have left time before writing this review to make sure it was tried and tested. We have had heavy rain since and no more leaks. I was nervous about getting the works done so I am so glad we went with Arthur.

  A clunky noise whilst the washing machine was in spin mode.

  They responded to the request quickly and the visit was soon after. The job was completed quickly and the engineer was friendly and communicated well. We would definitely use again.

  Damp repair work internally and externally

  I found that I had rotten skirting boards, floorboards and joists in my livingroom. Whittingham Building Ltd came highly recommended from numerous neighbours. We haven't had any building work done before, so we were quite nervous about it. We had stone filled channels dug at the front and back of the house with an impervious membrane against the building. The damaged joists were cut back and sistered. The floorboards were replaced. The plaster was locally removed and replaced with breathable lime plaster. Excellent work, great comms, final result is perfect and reassuring. Will use again!
