  Valley gutter replacements and some minor fixes

  Nick came and gave a quote really quickly. The quote was very reasonably priced, he didn’t suggest dodgy replacement concrete like some other guys had, and he didn’t try to upsell either. He was also happy to fix a separate minor issue using a ladder that another company had said would require full scaffolding. Nick completed the work as quickly as the rain would allow - even bringing extra guys to make sure the job was finished before Christmas. During the work he spotted an issue with my old felt, and replaced this without any additional charge. I would use Nick again without any hesitation.

  Landing and bedroom laminate flooring

  Kevin did a brilliant job with our laminate floor. He arrived on time, was friendly and tidy, and finished the job on time. We wanted the skirting removed and refixed, and he did so neatly so that the skirting didn’t need replacing. Part of the job was replacing previous laminate, and Kevin spotted where the last fitter didn’t do a good job. He took time to tuck the laminate underneath the wardrobe and stair trim, giving an even better finish than before. When the job was done we had an issue with the stair nose, but he came back quickly and replaced it. We will happily use KG Flooring again!

  Minor gutter repair

  Green Roofing fixed my leaking gutter for a very reasonable price, saving me from going up on a ladder!! They kept in communication and let me know when they would be arriving, and updated me when they were delayed. They also came out to sort out the problem in the first place - which given lots of other companies either ignored my request for a quote, or didn’t bother to send one through after visiting, I was grateful for. Would definitely use again.

  Wallpapering stairs and painting hall and landing

  Shane and his team were a pleasure to do business with from the start. A prompt and reasonably priced quote was followed by a well done and smooth job. Shane arrived on time each day, kept the house tidy, and was always friendly and lovely to have in our home. The work was professionally finished, and although parts were tricky (a very long drop of wallpaper) the final result looks fab. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Hobbs again, and recommend them wholeheartedly.

  Gutter cleaning, clearance and minor repair

  First time we’ve used Andy and he was brilliant. Turned up when he said, gave the gutters a thorough cleaning and sorted out some minor repair work while he was there. Job was completed without fuss and for a very reasonable price. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again!

  Height reduction and reshaping of crown of two trees

  Fred and his team were brilliant. We had two tall trees that we wanted made shorter, and Fred advised on what was possible verses good for each tree’s health. One tree was more delicate than the other, and Fred explained what could be done while still maintaining the health of the tree and not killing it, and advised on the after effects of such a short chop - eg the tree growing faster as a result. The work was completed quickly and everything was tided up afterward. I now have two shorter trees I can look after more easily, and know they will both be okay once recovered from their haircut!

  Large landscaping job - new fencing, removal of wall and concrete, lawn laid, planters and trellis.

  Neaton and Dawn took on our massive landscaping job, involving over 40 feet of new fencing with gate, cutting trees, ripping out bushes, and laying new turf. There was also a long garden wall and old concrete slab to break up and remove, which was a nightmare to do. Neaton then built us a huge planter with trellis to break up having to look at a bare brick wall. The work has transformed our garden, and has been completed to a high standard. Neaton and Dawn were a pleasure to work with, and were friendly, polite and full of good humour even when the job got tough. Would definitely use again.

  New laminate flooring laid, new light fittings, painting and decorating of front room, stairs and landing

  Chris and his colleague both did a fantastic job ripping up our old flooring and laying new laminate. Their painting and decorating of the rooms is carefully done and looks brilliant. Really transformed our tired old paint jobs, especially on the banister and other trimmings. Mark the electrician did a very neat job on fitting a new light and adding a light switch to the other side of the room. This is our third time using HCH, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or use their services again. Thank you Richard and the team!

  New kitchen fitted

  Dave did an absolutely sterling job on our new kitchen. He was always on time, was very good at keeping us updated, and at keeping in contact whenever there were questions. Quality of workmanship is great - we're very pleased with everything about the fit. Would definitely use Hampton Court Hands again for any building or renovation work.

  Moss removed from garage roof.

  Andy was quick, efficient and turned up when he said he would. He removed over 20 years worth of moss from our garage roof, replacing damaged tiles where required. All the rubbish and moss was tidied away and removed at the end of the job. Andy also provided some advice about future maintenance. All in all, very happy and wouldn’t hesitate to go to Andy again for any roofing jobs or repairs. Highly recommend.
