  Replacement fence posts

  I contacted Mike through Checkatrade and he responded within an hour or so to say he was interested in the job (replacing a fence post). I sent Mike a photo of the job and he quoted me a price which I was happy to accept. Just before he was due I noticed that another fence post had also snapped. I contacted Mike and he said that he needed to get another post but he would be over first thing the next morning. Very happy with the job and will be seeking to use Mike again if I need any further fencing work.

  Replacement of two external lights and provision of another two

  D J Webb replied to my job very quickly and requested a photo of the job required. I was quoted a price (and this was the actual cost of the work) and the job was undertaken quickly and with the minimum of fuss and to a high standard. No mess afterwards and a friendly attitude. Highly recommended.

  New fence posts and panels

  Sam responded on the same day the job was posted and we met that same day in the afternoon. He knew this was an urgent job and he was able to schedule the job for the following day. The job itself was completed in a couple of hours and I'm really pleased with the result.

  Replace flooring and skirting

  I asked for a tradesman to install new flooring and plastic skirting in a bedroom and I had a number of tradesmen reply that they were interested but only Darren visited and arranged to carry out the work. Darren arrived on time and started work. On completion the room had been left in a clean and tidy condition and the work was absolutely first class. I would certainly recommend Darren and will call on him again if I need any further carpentry type work undertaken.

  Boiler Service

  Martin carried out a boiler service and changed a kitchen tap in the morning and then replaced an automatic vent in another property. I have used Martin many times before and, once again, the work was completed to a high standard and everything was left clean and tidy. I will certainly be using Martin again in the future.

  Install new hatch and loft ladder

  Mark arrived on time and installed a new hatch and loft ladder. No mess was left and the old hatch was taken away for disposal. After installation the workings of the new hatch and ladder were explained. What more can I say? For me it was as simple as making an appointment and waiting for the hatch and ladder to be installed, couldn't be easier.

  Installation of room thermostat and shower installation

  Used Martin a few times now and always does a good job. New shower installed together with a room thermostat for the central heating. Another good, clean job. Thoroughly recommended.

  Repair wiring on central heating pump and check leaks on isolating valves

  Martin arrived on time and sorted out the leaks on the isolating valves very quickly. The wiring on the pump has been checked and needs a new lead so when it arrives Martin will be back. Very happy with his prefessionalism and help.
