  Very pleased with the work done

  I was contacted by Hugh from Active Roofing very quickly after posting for work to be done at my mum's house. His quote was reasonable and he carried out the work within a matter of days (good considering the weather. As I don't live near my mum, he took "before & after" photos so that I could see what he had done. Furthermore, on starting work on one area, he realised that more work was required so he put back everything he had removed, to keep that area watertight. He sourced the necessary materials and was back again within days to take out old wooden joists, put on felt, retile etc.

  Tiling of bathroom floor and fitting new toilet

  We had used Sebastian to swap a bath for a shower and he did an excellent job. The floor now needed re-tiling and my mum wanted a new toilet. Sebastian turned up as arranged: on removing the old toilet, he discovered that there had been a slow leak and the flooring was damaged. He sorted that out and then got on with the tiling etc. He worked solidly for 2 days and did a super job, my mum is delighted! He has been a pleasure to work with: he is reliable, works hard and cleans up any mess. He is polite and friendly and I can thoroughly recommend him!

  Boiler service

  I contacted O'neil Gas Services on behalf of my mother. They called me back promptly and I then left it with my mum to arrange a convenient appointment. The engineer turned up before 9am on the day, which was much appreciated, and did a thorough job (from what my mum could tell, she is no expert!!). He also fixed a radiator valve which had been stopping said radiator from heating up: it only took him a couple of minutes to identify and sort the problem but it was very decent of him to do this and my mum was really pleased that he sorted it for her. Will be happy to use OGS Ltd again.

  Changing bath to shower, fitting new shower mixer unit

  Sebastian was great from the start: he replied quickly to my message, came to my mum's house to look at what work was required and gave advice on what shower mixer unit to buy. We arranged a date for the work to start and he worked solidly for two days from 9am to 6pm, with hardly a break. He was courteous, tidy and did a fantastic job: my mum is delighted with the transformation, which has made life so much easier for her. We were so pleased with the work that Sebastian did that we have arranged for him to do some other work. Highly recommended!
