  Install soil waste stack for new ensuite bathroom

  Exemplary! I have very high standards and Maher exceeded them in the quality of work done. Their timekeeping, courtesy and tidiness were also excellent. We were installing an ensuite and needed to adapt the existing cast iron stack to accommodate shower, basin and toilet waste outlets. Maher designed a new stack future proofed for other ensuites on that side of the house, diamond cored out and filled all holes very neatly and professionally executed in high quality materials. They respected our carpets despite needing to come in and out of the house. Will use again without hesitation.

  Emergency felling 80ft Silver Birch subject to TPO.

  Great job, would use again without hesitation. Our much loved Silver Birch was weakened by the hot summer and developed a dangerous lean. Adam from GG came promptly to assess and advised felling. Quote arrived that evening. GG obtained emergency 5 day permission to fell the tree and came promptly to do the work in advance of forecast stormy weather to the great relief of our neighbours. The team worked hard, professionally, were courteous and prompt. The garden was left more tidy than when they came!

  Roof overhaul and chimney repair

  We hired 1st to overhaul our roof, clear gutters and repair a chimney flashing which had been leaking in a minor way for some years but was never bad enough to action. I cannot fault them throughout. Their scaffolder was polite and prompt. They were polite, prompt, communicated well and offered the chance to inspect the work before they left even setting up a ladder so I could see the chimney work. Very impressed. Will use again without hesitation.

  Kitchen LED lighting.

  Replaced halogen kitchen down lighters with LED. One stopped working a week after the work was completed. They came back and replaced the faulty transformer promptly and without charge under warranty.

  Interior LED Lighting.

  Very professional at every stage, we will certainly use them again. Asked questions at all the right points so we were always confident that the work would be done as we wanted. We are very pleased with the LED strip up-lights they fitted in our Hallway and also with the accompanying wall lights. Damage associated with fitting wires behind wood panelling and channelling through plaster was kept to an absolute minimum and made good as agreed. Brilliant job!
