  Replacement of wooden garden gate

  I’m delighted with my new gate, which Alex had to make from scratch as my old one was a non-standard size. After I submitted my request for a quote, Alex contacted me almost immediately, and after an exchange of communication about the details of the job he arrived within a couple of hours to begin work. He was friendly, professional and hard-working, despite the bitter weather outside, and left no mess behind him, just a strong, secure gate that is far better quality than the one it replaced. It’s wonderful to know that my garden is secure, and I would definitely use Alex again.

  I was really impressed with Ben's original contact, as everything was communicated in writing so I knew exactly when he would be coming and had all the details I needed. The quote was very reasonable, and the work was explained clearly, so I was confident of his reliability and knowledgeability. He and his team were friendly, professional and obviously keen and proud to do a good job - I haven't always been this lucky with tradespeople. The work was carried out efficiently to a high standard - I am very pleased and will definitely recommend Fjc Roofing to others.

  Finding and fixing leaks

  Great communication from Homefix’s office, from initial phone calls to arranging payment. The engineer, Sean, was friendly, efficient and went the extra mile, even when the loft he was working in was hot, stuffy and very dusty. He located not one but two leaks which, if left undetected, could have been catastrophic. He photographed the fixed and replaced parts so I could see and understand what he’d done, and took the old parts away, leaving everything really tidy. I would definitely use this company, and engineer, again.

  New hinges fitted to bedroom window

  I was delighted with the quality of the work carried out, and also with the communication received both before, during and afterwards - I was asked relevant questions about the specifics of the work I required before a quote was given, and this was the price I ultimately paid. The husband and wife team were friendly, punctual and professional, and took care not to make or leave any mess. I would definitely use this company again, and thoroughly recommend them.
