  Painting bathroom after tiling

  Superb experience. Excellent communication from Adnand who even managed to find the paint colour that was out of production and purchased this for me. He was very polite and respectful of the property and the quality of the painting was superb. My tenants are very happy and I would definitely use Spark Decorating again. Thank you Adnand.

  Retiling of bathroom

  Eri is an excellent tiler and very knowledgeable and skilled. He works extremely hard. English is not his first language but we still managed to communicate over WhatsApp as the job was in a tenanted property. There were a few minor issues afterwards which were resolved straightaway.

  Fascia’s and guttering replaced

  Michael’s communication was excellent. He spoke to our tenants and arranged access and the work was done to a high standard. Michael provided us with photos of the work. He also identified some problems with the pointing on the chimney and flashing which we also commissioned him to do. We were pleased with the work and therefore asked him to do another of our properties which was completed on 21/2/25

  Sourcing and replacing damaged internal door

  I had an issue with a door in a rental property which had been damaged at the hinges. I do not live near the property. Robert was very helpful. He attended the property promptly, assessed that a replacement door was required and sourced and replaced it within a week liasing with my tenants who worked shifts and keeping me informed. The door was not a standard size and had to be cut down to fit. He reused the hinges and handles at my request and sent me photos of the completed job. I was very satisfied with the service provided.

  Felling 2 large conifers, reduction in height of 2 more and stump grinding

  What an excellent job from Darren and his assistant Mark. The job was done in the time agreed by Darren with us and to the quote given which we felt was good value for money. The site was left tidy, the trees shaped as requested, all debris removed from site and Darren was incredibly knowledgable about trees. They were both a pleasure to have around. We are delighted and would definitely use him again.

  Replacement of Fascias, soffits and guttering with uPVC

  This work was done in my absence and was done very well. The communication from Peter was excellent with photos of progress and when I returned to the property 2 days after the work I was most impressed. The work was neat and tidy and what had been agreed. The area had been left very tidy.

  Skimming new extension

  This is the second time we have used Gary. He and his colleagues are quite simply superb. Extremely polite and so easy to have around. He works extremely hard and takes great pride in his work and getting an excellent finish. I have had a lot of plastering done in my life and the finish that Gary obtained on the walls is the best I have ever had. Our electrician even commented on the really fine finish on the walls. He is also an extremely tidy worker and leaves everything very tidy at the end of each day. The clear up at the end was flawless. The price was as quoted. Top notch tradesperson.

  Pebble dashing to extension.

  Gary and his colleagues were always extremely polite. They covered areas to protect them such as the drive and cleared up well afterwards. There were some delays on the original agreed date but this was due to the weather and unforeseen events but Gary was excellent in keeping me informed and communication was excellent at all times. The pebble dashing looks good and blends in well with the existing finish. We have already asked Gary to do another job and would use him again. Price was as quoted.
