  Superb work on fireplace

  Ben did a superb job with our fireplace. He bricked up holes in the hearth, tidied up the brickwork, built a new set of joists under the floor, cleared the airways underneath and then did an immaculate job tiling the hearth, it looks fantastic. He was courteous, professional and prompt. Could not recommend more highly. Thanks Ben!

  Took deposit, never turned up to undertake work and refusing to refund the money

  Paul was instructed to supply and install kitchen worktops in Oct 2022. He did not attend on the agreed date without notice due to personal circumstances. I gave an opportunity to rearrange. He failed to attend on two further dates over three months. He then refused to provide a refund, claiming that he was owed money for 'lost days work', blaming me for the failure of a supplier to deliver materials (which he was responsible for as this was part of his agreed service). Paul took £780 of my family's money and has been given ample time to complete the work or provide a refund.
