  Trustworthy and polite

  Tomas came round to assess the damage to my fence caused by the wind. He was efficient, prompt and gave me a very reasonable quote, which I accepted. The quality of his work was good and he repaired the fence within a few hours having tidied up and removed all the old damaged fence. I would definitely recommend Tomas who is very pleasant, trustworthy and extremely polite.

  Kitchen/bathroom and outside lights

  Following an introduction from Checkatrade, I received a call from Paul of Evolve, who came round the same day to look at and quote for fixing/replacing spotlights in both the kitchen and shower room, plus fixing/replacing two outdoor intruder lights (front and back). After accepting the quote, Paul ordered the light fittings and he and Ed came the next day to replace them. Everything was completed with an hour. Paul and Ed were both extremely pleasant, informative, efficient and helpful. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

  Carpet cleaning

  I placed a request on Checkatrade and shortly afterwards received two messages, one being from Elite Carpet and Cleaning Ltd., followed by a telephone call and subsequent WhatsApp messages, outlining cost etc. I confirmed acceptance and two young men came, arriving on time and proceeded to clean our living room, stairs and main bedroom carpets. They were very friendly, polite, swift and efficient. They cleared up and the whole procedure took less than 90 mins. The final result was brilliant and the cost was very reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

  Repair to toilet which was continually flushing

  Jonathan came round within two hours of calling him. He's a very pleasant, courteous young man who obviously knew what he was doing and was extremely efficient and tidy. He explained the problem; told me what needed to be done to rectify the fault and fitted the new parts within less than an hour. I would certainly call Jonathan again should the need arise and would highly recommend him.

  I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. Hayley, who owns Plush Properties and her colleague Daniel, are the epitome of professionalism. Not only are they delightful people, their work is absolutely first class. Even though they were in the house for 14 days, they were totally unobtrusive. They cleaned and vacuumed at the end of each day and even put some furniture back so we could sit in the living room in the evening. The work itself is outstanding and of high quality. I can honestly say that my house, especially the hall and stairs, has been transformed. Absolutely brilliant!

  Ollie Bond is a very hard working and courteous young man who is not shy of hard, physical work having single handedly taken down and removed a walled pond, flower bed and hedging. He is thorough, clean and tidy in his work and clears up at the end of each session. Although Ollie did external garden work for me, he has done extensive building and plumbing work at my daughter's home. I would happily recommend O. Bond Building Ltd., for any building, plumbing and garden work required.

  A very pleasant, highly experienced and extremely knowledgeable man who carried out the work quickly and efficiently, clearing up as he went along. Because he finished the work sooner than expected, Mr Woods is revising (down) his original quote - such a gentleman. I would strongly recommend Mr Woods.

  An excellent job completed by an extremely efficient and competent worker. Everything was carried out to a very high standard with rubbish being cleared away and the area left neat and tidy. I would strongly recommend David who definitely knows exactly what he is doing. I am now waiting for another quote for hard landscaping.

  I was very impressed by the professional way Dave Thurgood quoted for the work(s) to be done, which he carried out swiftly and to a high standard. He is obviously highly experienced; knows exactly what he is doing and his work is meticulous. He is also extremely courteous, kind and helpful. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him and have booked him again to carry out the permanent fencing work.
