  Professional and efficient repairs of old external wall

  Cronin Building Maintenance Ltd recently repaired sections of failed brickwork on an external two-storey wall of a building in our back garden. The job was done neatly, and in keeping with the existing style of the wall. Access was via a neighbouring property and Cronin Building Maintenance were patient and flexible with accommodating this. Their staff arrived early in the morning, at the agreed time, and completed a difficult job with care and precision. Our neighbours had high praise for their professionalism, and we are very happy with the work done. We've used them before and will again.

  Repair and redecoration of external walls with one wall in a neighbour’s garden.

  Cronin Building Maintenance assessed the walls and came back quickly with a reasonable quote. Job scheduling was managed efficiently and timekeeping was excellent. All repairs were done as discussed with the bulk of the work in our neighbour’s garden. This was handled professionally throughout. The site was left neat and tidy.   Leaking flat roof repairs

  Mike Cronin was recommended by a local friend to take look at our leaking flat roof. He came round at the time scheduled, quickly identified the problem, and by end of day had provided us with a reasonable quote that clearly outlined the works to be done. A date was set and the job completed over two consecutive mornings. Mike arrived on time and was friendly and knowledgable. Work was done to a high standard (mineral felt and lead flashing) and the site was left clean and tidy. Recommended 100%.

  Repairs to two flat roofs

  Michael Cronin came to quote for our jobs when he said he would. He made an assessment, gave us a quote by the end of the day and turned up on time. He replaced flash bands that had been installed by another contractor as part of a new flat roof and that had failed within a few months causing extensive leaking. He used mineral upstands and lead flashing cut into the render. Michael came recommended by a friend and resolved an ongoing problem for us in an efficient, polite, friendly and timeous manner.

  New patio sliding doors and large windows in a connecting passage

  I have used Shaws several times over the past decade and a half and have always found them to be professional and efficient. Added to that, their quotations are competitive and their staff are friendly, knowledgable and competent. The narrow space available for our new patio doors meant that the door opening was restricted but Shaws were able to come up with a workaround that sorted this issue for us.

  Mark contacted me shortly after I’d submitted a job request to Checkatrade and arranged a site visit to assess the works. He came back to me quickly with a reasonable quote and start date. The layered nature of the job required several visits that Mark scheduled to accommodate our specific availability requests. Mark and his experienced team were professional, conscientious and friendly at all times. They completed the work within the agreed time frame, keeping to scheduled stages. The site area was kept clean and tidy between visits. In general work was of a high standard.

  Dan gave us a realistic quote and honest assessment of our hope to move in one day. We appreciated his straight talk and the fact that he was an experienced mover himself. Our dates were unconfirmed but Dan held a slot for us despite short notice. He helped out with packaging supplies and guidance in anticipation of the move. He also fitted in a home office move to a separate location. Grosvenor staff were brilliant.   Matty was able to come round at short notice to clear a large amount of garden cuttings, soil, hard core and old wood. He was friendly, gave a fair quote for the work and performed the task quietly and efficiently. We will definitely use him again.

  Gary arrived punctually and was friendly and informative. Knowing how much soot and debris there was in my 130-year-old chimney, I was amazed at how clean Gary left my flat. I appreciated the good advice I received from Gary and would recommend him to anyone who needs chimneys cleaned and certified.
