  Very thorough job well done

  Ion and his team completely refurbished the front of our house, including building a new front wall, laying new paving slabs and laying a new intricate mosaic path. In addition, they also refurnished the front of the house itself, including new guttering, fascia boards, stripping back and restoring/re-painting the plasterwork and re-painting the pebbledash. Inside, they carried out some carpentry work, including stripping paint from the stairs, plus new woodwork in our hallway.

  New patio, room refurbishment and new downstairs toilet

  Ion and his team built us a new patio, fully refurbished our old kitchen (which is now a utility room) and built a new downstairs toilet under the stairs. This involved moving a wall to create a new room. This was the second time we’ve had Ion in as he built us a kitchen extension in 2022. We are very happy with the work carried out and with the service Ion and his team provided. Ion was always courteous and kept us up to date with how the work was proceeding. I would recommend Ion and would have him back a third time should we require his services!

  Kevin was very friendly and professional when he came to provide a quote, offering us several options and explaining each one. The fitters were equally professional. They were on-time, polite and tidy. Price paid was as agreed. Very happy with the job!

  New kitchen extension

  Ion and his team have provided an excellent service and done a great job with our kitchen extension. The works involved demolishing an old lean-to and building a new, permanent replacement. This entailed moving the manhole cover and re-routing the drainage pipes and digging whole new foundations. The team are very hard working and managed to excavate huge amounts of earth in no time! Ion was also happy to undertake extra bits of work for us, such as some repairs to the existing roof and re-building a chimney breast. We are very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Ion!

  Cleaning front of house windows

  Windows were left sparkling, including frames (some parts of which were heavily soiled from some bad guttering in heavy rain). Chris also cleaned the front door, which hasn't looked this clean since we bought the house!

  Fitted new skirting board and picture rail

  The skirting boards and picture rails were fitted to a good standard and look smart. Jack managed to remove the old skirting board that was blocked in by pipes to the boiler and replace with the new board without any difficulty, which we were really pleased with. The picture rail was initially fitted higher than had been agreed, but Jack was happy to move it lower with no issues.

  Large pile of household waste removed

  A large amount of household waste (mainly wood and carpet) was removed from our back garden. Access was through the house only, but this wasn't a problem. Amount of waste was more than had been first estimated (via photographs), but this was accommodated for without any problems (though with an higher cost). Very happy with the finished job, the area was swept up afterwards and left looking neat and tidy. Both were polite and courteous - would recommend.
