  Total replacement of garden fence

  Found Terry on the helpful checkatrade leaflet that the postman delivers. Contacted him and he was quick to respond. Viewed the job, provided me with a competitive estimate and clear timescale for the work to be undertaken. He arrived as promised on the agreed date and time to undertake the work. An excellent job, extremely tidy, very good communication and a friendly manner. Pleased to have found him and would use again without hesitation.

  Wood burner installation

  Excellent service from start to finish. Clear communication and explanations of work requirements to remove huge old built in gas fire to enable a wood burner to be installed in its place. Pete, Tara and Tyler are a real lucky find and I would have no hesitation in using again or recommending to others. Great family business.

  Blinds replacement

  Needed six sets of blinds to be replaced in our bungalow. Dave arrived within a couple of days of first contact to measure and show rafts of options. We selected what we would like and paid the deposit. Then 4 weeks or so later the blinds came with David who fitted them all successfully. We had a couple of issues since and these are being sorted out. Good to deal with and would use again without hesitation.

  Remove faulty sensor light from airing cupboard

  Matt came to remove the flashing sensor light in the airing cupboard. He was able to put in a blank plate and run trunking to install a proper switch we can use instead. Excellent solution. Clear explanation of what he was going to do. Left not a bit of mess. Highly recommend as such a personable engaging skilled professional.

  Solar panels installation

  Installation of 10 solar panels with inverter and battery. Five on each side of roof. Excellent service from start to finish. Professional in every way. Clear, friendly communication, punctual and left the garage where they installed the battery as clean and tidy as when they arrived. Once installation had been finished, they took the time to explain how everything worked to us. Highly recommend without hesitation.

  Delivering 14 boxes of items from Ilkley to Littlehampton, West Sussex

  Kirk was excellent in sorting this out for me as I live in Littlehampton and the boxes were with a relative in Ilkley. I found him on checkatrade and contacted him, sent him photographs of the amount of items. All arrived safely with his delightful two colleagues. Tidy, courteous and professional in all regards.   Replacing bathroom sinks, toilets, cabinets and pop up sink waste drain

  I was lucky enough to find Toro Plumbing last year when we were having some boiler and heating issues and have continued to use their services when any plumbing issues arise or there is a need to replace items which are no longer working correctly. They are reliable, super tidy, courteous with excellent time keeping and communication. On this occasion Harry and Tyler were replacing bathroom sinks, toilets, cabinets and a pop-up sink waste drain. A great job done indeed. Highly recommend without any hesitation.

  Valleys, ridge pointing, and gulley works on bungalow.

  Tom and his team spent three weeks (because of the inclement summer weather) stripping 6 valleys of fibreglass back to bare valley boards - finding various issues along the way, of which he kept me totally appraised with descriptions and replacing them with code 4 450mm wide lead. Very personable team, tidy as can be with good communication from start to finish.

  4 Bed House, garage and shed clearance

  Kevin and Brendan were excellent indeed. From the moment I found Kevin on Checkatrade I experienced clear polite communication. I live 45 miles away from the property concerned as it was my late father's. When they arrived to clear the property, a clear plan was explained to me which they followed to the letter. They were extremely careful with items that were going to be sold as though they were their own. Everywhere was left tidy and clean to a very high standard indeed. Would not hesitate to recommend as they were absolutely brilliant. So very pleased I found Kevin's company.

  Check entire electrics in bungalow

  Matt came along to check all the wall switches in our bungalow. Some were crackling, some sockets needed replacing, others needing blank plates as nothing behind the switches on the wall or not connected to anything at all. His colleague kindly sourced suitable replacements and all things were left in good and safe order. A job that needed doing so very pleased with their hard work. Highly recommend.
