  Retiling the entrance hall

  Very pleased with the finished job - retiling our entrance hall and adjoining steps up to an understairs coat hanging and storage space. A fiddly job as nothing in our barn conversion is square. Steve communicated well at all stages - first contact through Checkatrade, quickly coming to look at the job, giving us a quote, and organising the work to fit in with lots of other commitments on both sides. He turned up when he said he would, the job took exactly the time he first indicated, and he left the place clean and tidy. A very meticulous worker. Highly recommended.

  Dean came to look at the job and gave good advice on what we needed to do with the old tiles, which were partly laid over old vinyl so it all had to be ripped up before he could lay new tiles. That left a pretty uneven old concrete floor, which he levelled with no problems. Communications were great, Dean arrived to do the job exactly when he said he would, he was pleasant to have around and cleaned up after the job. We are extremely pleased with the end result and have booked him to come back and do more. I recommend Dean highly for this type of work.

  Great for routine servicing, repairs and installations

  Tonepohl have just done the annual service on our oil boiler, which prompts me to write this review. We've had lots of work done by Tonepohl over the past six years, including new oil boiler and pump installation, various upgrades to our radiator network, and a major refit of our en suite shower room. The work has always been excellent. The people working here have all been impressive in their knowledge, technical skill, tidiness, timekeeping, and general ease to have around. The work has always been done in line with the quote given at the outset. Communications are great.
