  Full Grade II listed Georgian sash window renovation

  I cannot recommend Sam more highly! He is hugely knowledgable & passionate about sash windows, even supplying a glossary of terms with his quote to explain carefully the intricacies of the work he carries out. The Grade II listed Georgian sash window he renovated for me was particularly delicate & rotten in places. He transformed it within a matter of a few days to the point that it is about as energy efficient as single glazed sash windows can be, especially with original 250 yr old glass panes! He’s an absolute delight to deal with too. Sam, you deserve much success in your venture!

  Cut back a yew & leylandii hedge

  James quoted extremely competitively, could fit me in much faster, stayed in constant communication throughout & arrived extremely promptly on the day. Did an absolutely fantastic job, working effortlessly on an extremely high hedge with access issues, leaving the hedge looking great & the garden spotless. I urge you to get a quote from this company because some of the quotes I received were more than twice the price of Boyle Brothers Tree Services & Boyle Brothers not only did a fantastic job, but nothing was too much bother where as, for other companies who came out to quote, it was.

  Decoration of reception rooms

  I cannot recommend Nathan more highly. He is an incredibly organised, careful & detail-focussed decorator who has transformed my two reception rooms, including Georgian floor-to-ceiling sash windows & skirting with woodwork that was in a sorry state. We had a complex colour scheme with not-the-easiest brand of paint to work with, Farrow & Ball, but he made it seem a breeze. He turned up on time every day, is extremely polite, worked in an organised, methodical way that left us with zero splashes anywhere, ensuring the house was as back to normal as it could be when he left each evening.

  Various works to the roof, soffit & guttering

  I would highly recommend Ryan and his team. He has surveyed the roof of a property I have considered purchasing for my lender at no charge when other companies wanted a few hundred pounds for this. He has also carried out various works to the roof on my house including general repairs, replacing soffits and sorting guttering issues. Apart from his workmanship, what sets him apart is his willingness to explore various options at a price point that suits the customer. In this day and age, this kind of service is priceless and rare to find!

  Weekly domestic clean

  I cannot recommend Chores Galore more highly. They have been carrying out a weekly domestic clean for me for a couple of months now and I cannot fault their excellent service. In just an hour, the four floors of my dusty Georgian cottage are spotless. They are ultra-efficient, courteous and flexible around my home working hours when I need them to be. My only hesitation in recommending them is that I don’t want them to become so popular, I cannot book them for additional jobs to supplement my weekly clean. Highly recommended!
