  No job too small

  From the time we contacted Rocky, through Checkatrade, until the completion of the work, he was prompt, professional and patient. With our property on clay grounds, the back garden turns into a pool every time there was heavy rain. Try as we may, we couldn't find a trader that would follow through on the quote. Until we met Rocky. Truly a saviour. Weather allowing, everything was resolved, and even landscaping the back and the front of the garden was completed within 2 weeks (only because the weather forced the work to stop on some days). We highly recommend Rocky and his team. Thank you.

  Lee and his team were very efficient and professional. They fitted double window in the bathroom and a single window in the ensuite. They took care in protecting the work space and ensured minimum disruption to us.. Lee also worked with us for the building reg process. Thank you again.

  Shane was very professional, friendly and easy to deal with. From the first point of contact until the end it was easy to trust his work and never too much for him to help. Shane provided the paint we agreed on and made knowledgeable recommendations. Shane worked with two of his team and finished everything in 3 days, protecting everything and cleaning afterwards.

  Misleading - enquiry by phone

  Looking for urgent replacement of bathtub with shower cubicle. 'Same Day Property Services' came up as a trader to cover my area. Telephoned their advertised freephone 0800 774 7774 to be told they don't replace bath-tubs or carry out loft conversions (my second request for a quote). I have already opened their website and read through their services that in detail lists both the jobs I called for. Their employee on the phone said "we are only a plumbing company". I did mention that in that case their website is falsely advertising. "OK thanks" she replied.

  Water log in back garden

  Of the three traders recommended for our work, KW Disposal was very quick to get in touch and arrange a home visit to assess the work. They arrived on time as promised. Unfortunately, once they promised a quote, they have not been in touch at all. This was on 3 May 2024. It is so frustrating that traders are not transparent. Just basically say you are not interested in the job!!

  Disappointing

  Wayne was very quick to answer to my initial enquiry on Checkatrader in Dec 2023. He was very courteous during our first meet. We agreed to finalised the quote requirements and carry the work out in the spring of 2024. At the time I introduced him to my neighbour. Subsequently, he completes my neighbours garden but ignores all my attempts to contact him and I was under the impressions that he will be sending a quote. Even when my neighbour reminded him on my behalf, no response.
