  My wife and I recently purchased a mid-terrace, during renovations we had our roof inspected and found some of the timbers rotted. We got Frontline in to inspect the wood and Velux window. Initially, we had looked to strengthen the existing frame but as the roof tiles came off, that just wasn't economically possible and we opted to replace. The team communicated throughout and we discussed options at various stages. I was also invited to view the work at various stages to see progress and undertaking. Overall supper happy and glad we got them into fix it. Workmanship was top notch.

  Rip out and rebuild of understairs cupboard

  We hired Darren and his team to renovate our understairs space. We needed a cupboards for the fuse board, meters and heating and then wanted a space for shoes, the pram etc. Darren and his team ripped out the 1960s tongue and grove style cupboard that was there. Then built a custom cupboard to fit the utilities. They lined the stairs with a ceiling to give a flush finish, added a soft close door and lined the side of the stairs, creating the multi use spaces.

  Install New Ceiling, building bathroom walls and plastering (backroom, bathroom, hallway)

  We had AJ and his team do our middle room, we were so happy with the work he did we got his team back to do our Bathroom, back bedroom and hallway. It was a large undertaking with replacement of ceiling joists, wall plate, new stud walls, including remedial work like stitching the party wall and then plastering upstairs and entire hallway. Aj communicates every step, gives options and understands budget constraints. We're already discussing the next project (downstairs living room).

  taking 1-2 meters out of bay tree and disposal

  Jim and his team did an excellent job of pruning a bay tree that had grown from our neighbours side to our side. They communicated in a timely manner, answered our questions and were attentive when on site. Cleaned up after themselves and we're polite. Definitely would have them back and for future needs.

  Plastering Medium size room including ceiling

  AJ and his team did an incredible job with the room, it really is excellent work and I would certainly use Barnes plastering for my future needs. From the very beginning, AJ gave useful feedback like screwing the ceiling to prevent future cracks to spotting the asbestos rope in the fireplace. Following his guidance has led to a better finished product. On site, his team was considerate, informing me when it might be a little noisy, they covered all the floors with tarpaulin and cleaned up after themselves. Just go with Barnes Plastering, best choice you'll make.

  Removal of Large Chimney Breast and Wall

  We hired John and his team to remove a large chimney breast and a brick partition wall between the kitchen and dining room. From the start, John provided a clear and reasonable quote, paying careful attention to our party wall and ensuring minimal disruption to our new neighbours. Despite an asbestos issue delaying the start by a week, John’s team were flexible and accommodating. On site, they were friendly, polite, and completed the work faster than expected, leaving everything clean and tidy. We’ve already booked them for another job and would 100% recommend them!
