  Loft insulation

  It was a fantastic experience.From the minute we sent a message on checkatrade the communication with Johan was excellent.They came out to do a quote within days,on a date that suited us.The quote was received quickly.They answered our questions promptly.During the day of the work they took away 2 old water tanks and other rubbish.They arrived promptly and I cannot fault them.Finally, the quote was very competitive compared to 2 other quotes.A great job and great experience

  plastering and paint of landing area

  We had a split tank in our loft which caused a major leak, ceiling to crack and sag.Chris provided a very reasonable quote and came out to do an awesome plastering job this month.He then came out today, Sunday (due to a change of date) to do the painting.He is reliable, turns up on time, has super skills and cleans up afterwards.He's an all round nice guy and we are having him back to plaster a bedroom ceiling in August!

  Bathroom fan blew and it blew some other lights on same floor.Daz needed to identify the fault

  Daz was thorough and by methodical process of elimination found the electrical fault which caused bathroom fan to blow.Wires in bedroom ceiling light had become diconnected causing the issue.Daz explained the problem in layman's language and also made some recommendations which we will address in the next few months.We will definitely used him for our next electrical work.He is a very nice guy with high standards and clearly would nor take short cuts.

  To paint external sache windows which were badly peeling in places

  Vince kept me informed in the lead up to the job which is difficult when it is weather dependent.He was friendly along with his assistant Leon.There was some missing beading which he went out and replaced.The windows were sanded, primed and then 2 coats of gloss.He spotted that I had some missing gutting which he fixed back on.They did an excellent job and I will be using Vince again.

  Lowering some very high hedges and shrubs

  We needed very high hedges and shrubs lowered which were out of control.The guys arrived on time and were well mannered.They constantly double checked the height we wanted everything cut to.They worked hard throughout and were very amenable when asking them to revisit areas.I would recommend them and will ask them to do work in the Autumn.

  New fireplace and woodburning stove

  The guy who carried out the work was very pleasant and got on with the job without any fuss. The end result is superb and immaculately finished and we cannot fault it. Where the old fireplace was removed, some plastering work was done and there is no sign of where it used to be. Our neighbours think we have a beautiful feature in our lounge and so do we!

  Tree surgery reducing 2 tall Pine trees and removing roots.

  The work was provided at a lower quote then others. It was done at convenient time and very efficiently with no mess. Would not know they had been. Neighbours commented on no impact and clean line.
