  Replaced a garden shed and roofing on a wood store

  Excellent communication and service. Rod came and advised, and quoted. No nonsense. He recommended a shed, and arranged purchase when I agreed. He and his team came and replaced the old shed and wood store roof, removing all waste and doing a professional job. We’re very happy and strongly recommend them. On my request Rod gave an estimate for new fencing, and I told him it was just for planning purposes. He still measured up and sent an estimate later that day.

  Washing machine repair

  Washing machine not spinning. Panic. Called Sam who came that morning. He had given an opinion on what might be wrong and was correct. He replaced the brushes and the machine is working perfectly again. Very courteous, tidy and knowledgeable, I thoroughly recommend him. He had told me that if his opinion was incorrect, given the age of my machine, it would probably be better to replace it. But he couldn't know until he'd examined it. A really honest and competent engineer. Thanks Sam.

  Unblocking the washing machine pump filter which was unable to be opened due to a trapped object

  Sam was on time, courteous and respected my property. I left him to pull the machine out, unblock the pump filter and also to clean the water inlet filters. He completed the job without fuss and left everything tidy and working. Great job. I will go back to Lamberts if I have an issue again.

  Changing a thermostat radiator valve

  I noticed one of my radiators had a slow leak at the valve. I called Hi-Tech who sent an engineer the next morning. Robert did a great job. He was polite, respectful of my property and friendly. He did the work explaining to me what he was doing and why, as I was interested. He left everything tidy and took great care not to make a mess. Thank you Robert! I recommend Hi-Tech as a professional and well priced firm.

  Fitting cavity wall insulation (beads) in a 1950s house

  I've deliberately waited to do a review because of some of the concerns I heard about cavity wall insulation. I researched it thoroughly, speaking several times to Vac-Xtract and a number of other companies. Every time, Vac-Xtract dealt with my questions patiently and completely. I went ahead with the work. The initial survey and all of the work was to my complete satisfaction. On time, polite, professional and really looking after my home. My home has been transformed without issues. Rooms which were like fridges are now 'normal'. I thoroughly recommend this company, thank you Vac-Xtract.

  Gas boiler annual inspection and replacement of a minor part of the system

  Very happy customer. I had a concern with my boiler. Sean advised me in the Hi-Tech office when I dropped by. Hi-Tech then responded quickly to service my boiler. Jamie came and was polite, courteous and looked after my property. He explained the boiler's operation and status to me in lay-person's English. Very helpful. Thank you, recommended.

  Sanding and oiling an oak floor

  A three day job to sand and then oil a large oak floor. Ben is a complete professional. On time, courteous and the job has been finished to our complete satisfaction. He treated us and our home with respect, protecting the house from the dust and thoroughly cleaning up. Our floor is renewed and looks spectacular. Thank you very much Ben for your skill and effort.
