  Swapped out old loft ladder with a new one

  Communication was short and to the point but was easy to get a date organised. Once on site, was excellent at explaining what was going on and options as questions came up. Would recommend for any handyman jobs.

  Installing main light fitting, inserting spotlights and correcting socket wiring

  Did some good work on our main light fitting, sockets and most spotlights. 2/12 spotlights weren't working, but Ian assured us he'd source and fit replacements. We settled the quote for the original work that day, and never heard back despite making numerous attempts to contact him. We've been left out of pocket by £250 as we had to buy and fit replacement spotlights ourselves, which weren't actually the problem, and bring in another electrician who's confirmed it's a wiring issue. Extremely disappointed by lack of response, additional costs incurred, and delay in completion this has caused.

  TimeForYou offered a very personable experience, very happy to talk through the process and had great reassurance they would be able to resolve any issues. They worked hard through Covid to keep us informed and arrange cover where appropriate. Would definitely use again.

  We were very happy working with Mike. He was very friendly and helpful when it came to making design decisions and was exactly what you would look for in a tradesman. Mike rescheduled the work at a couple of days notice but, once the new start date came around, he always arrived early and worked diligently. There were some very minor issues with the finished quality, but we were extremely happy for the price we paid. The work has revolutionised our front bedroom and we wouldn't hesitate to use him again/recommend him.
