  Mixing valve needed changing. Ben was very attentive and careful, explaining every step of the work required. After first visit he left me a choice of ordering the piece myself, but with correct details from him. In that way I managed to have some savings. Job was finished to a great standard on the second visit.

  You pay fixed call-out fee and get a very expensive estimate with wrong measurements.

  Mayfair Plumbers are pushy, everyone replies with text, they called. I wish I didn't agree and paid for their visit. Charged non refundable call out fee of £120 (discounted) whether investigation of the required job took 10min or 1h. Before the visit I even contacted their offices and their secretary said, if the assesment, in my case taking measurements, don't require the whole hour, that they will "take a careful look of the surrounding area" rest of the time. Job: shower doors replacement. Tradesperson took measures and went to their car to produce estimate ££££ with wrong measurements!
